OBIETTIVI
Il personale docente dell’Istituto Comprensivo “G. Pagoto” di Erice (Italia) e della scuola privata Ozel Antalya Koleji (Turchia) hanno lavorato fianco a fianco e in piena armonia durante la prima fase di Job Shadowing del progetto Erasmus+ “Leaving a livable world for future generations”, grazie al quale hanno consolidato il senso di cittadinanza attiva deputato a favorire lo sviluppo delle competenze sociali e interculturali, rivolgendo l’attenzione sul contesto europeo e sui valori comuni agli stati membri dell'Unione Europea. In particolare, i cinque docenti italiani e gli insegnanti turchi hanno messo a confronto le loro diverse pratiche didattiche per arricchire le proprie progettualità educative e per agire in maniera più efficace sui processi di apprendimento degli studenti.
Durante la seconda fase del progetto, denominata Teacher Training Course (corso di formazione docenti), che ha avuto luogo nella sede della Pixie Academy di Dalaman (Turchia), nove docenti dell’ Istituto Comprensivo “G. Pagoto” di Erice hanno appreso nuove pratiche di riduzione, riciclo e riutilizzo dei rifiuti, acquisendo una maggiore sensibilizzazione sulle problematiche ambientali. Successivamente, ritornati nella sede di lavoro, hanno guidato i loro alunni verso comportamenti deputati a favorire uno stile di vita zero waste.
OBJECTIVES
The teaching staff of the Comprehensive School “G. Pagoto” in Erice (Italy) and the private school Ozel Antalya Koleji in Turkey worked side by side and in complete harmony during the first phase of Job Shadowing of the Erasmus+ project “Leaving a livable world for future generations”, thanks to which they consolidated the sense of active citizenship responsible for promoting the development of social and intercultural skills, focusing their attention on the European context and on the values common to the member states of the European Union. In particular, the five Italian teachers and the Turkish coaches compared their different teaching practices in order to enrich their educational planning to act more effectively on the students' learning processes.
During the second step of the project, called Teacher Training Course, that took place at the Pixie Academy headquarter in Dalaman (Turkey), nine teachers, coming from the Comprehensive School “G. Pagoto” in Erice (Italy), learned new practices for waste reduction, recycling and reuse, acquiring greater awareness of environmental issues. Later, when they came back to their workplace, they led their students to acquire better behaviors aimed at supporting a zero waste lifestyle .

Si riportano di seguito i risultati raggiunti dai docenti e dagli alunni alla fine del progetto Erasmus+ “Leaving a livable world for future generations”. Inoltre, si descrivono le relative modalità di disseminazione.
RISULTATI DEI DOCENTI
I cinque docenti dell’Istituto Comprensivo “G.Pagoto” Erice che hanno partecipato al progetto Erasmus+ dal titolo “Leaving a livable world for future generations”, che si è svolto nella Scuola privata Ozel Antalya Koleji in Turchia, hanno perfezionato il loro bagaglio di esperienza didattica grazie alla fase di job shadowing in una scuola turca, affiancando i docenti stranieri sia nel lavoro in aula sia nelle programmazioni dipartimentali.
Durante la seconda fase del progetto, denominata Corso di Formazione Docenti che ha avuto luogo nella sede della Pixie Academy a Dalaman (Turchia), i nove docenti italiani che hanno preso parte al progetto, hanno acquisito maggiore consapevolezza sull’importanza di mantenere l’ambiente pulito attraverso il corretto riciclo dei rifiuti e di uno stile di vita zero waste; inoltre, hanno potenziato sia le abilità linguistiche (listening and speaking) in lingua inglese sia le capacità di cooperative learning grazie alle simulazioni di lesson plan programmate dai formatori turchi.
TEACHERS RESULTS
All the results achieved by teachers and students at the end of the Erasmus+ Project "Leaving a livable world for future generations" are described below. Moreover, the students’ outcomes and the dissemination methods are also described as following.
The five teachers of the Comprehensive Institute “G.Pagoto” Erice who partecipated in the Erasmus+ Project entitled “Leaving a livable world for future generations”, that took place at the private school Ozel Antalya Koleji in Turkey, perfected their knowledge teaching experience thanks to the job shadowing phase in the Turkish school, working alongside foreign teachers both in the classroom work and in departmental planning.
During the second phase of the project, called Teacher Training Course, that took place at the Pixie Academy headquarters in Dalaman (Turkey), the nine Italian teachers who partecipated in the project, acquired greater awareness of keeping a clean environment through the correct recycling of waste and a zero waste lifestyle; furthermore, they improved both their linguistic skills (listening and speaking) in English and their cooperative learning skills thanks to the lesson plan simulations programmed by the Turkish trainers.
RISULTATI DEGLI STUDENTI
Gli alunni della scuola, insieme ai propri docenti, hanno realizzato il logo del progetto e hanno dedicato uno space corner con foto e cartelloni all’interno degli spazi scolastici per socializzare i momenti più significativi di questa esperienza con l’intera comunità scolastica. Inoltre, gli alunni si sono impegnati nel realizzare UDA, PPT e cartelloni sugli items affrontati dai loro docenti durante la mobilità assumendo comportamenti di rispetto verso l’ambiente, imparando a riconoscere le varie tipologie di rifiuti per dividerli e riutilizzarli in modo corretto e senza sprechi, acquisendo maggiore senso civico e di responsabilità nel mantenere l’ambiente pulito. Gli allievi hanno compreso la dimensione sociale ed europea del progetto, sentendosi essi stessi cittadini dell’UE, migliorando al tempo stesso le loro competenze linguistiche in lingua inglese e condividendo attività online con studenti della città di Bray in Irlanda.
STUDENTS RESULTS
Students, together with their teachers, have realized a logo of the project and dedicated a space corner with photos and posters within the school spaces in order to socialize the most significant moments of this experience with the entire school community. Furthermore, the students were involved to created UDA, PPT and posters on the items addressed by their teachers during the mobility, by taking on better behaviours to respect the environment around them and learning to recognize different garbage in order to divide and reuse it in a correct way, acquiring a bigger civic sense and responsibility to keep a clean environment. The students understood the social and European dimension of the project, feeling themselves citizens of the EU, by improving their multilingualism competences in English and sharing online activities with Irish students living in the city of Bray.
